Ranieri sacked
Claudio Ranieri has been sensationally sacked as Leicester City manager, Sportsmail understands.

The brutal decision to dismiss the man who lead them to arguably the greatest triumph in English football history was made after the 2-1 Champions League defeat in Seville.

Sportsmail attempts to confirm this with the club have proved unsuccessful tonight with representatives unavailable for comment.

I'd like to see Hodgson in place by the time we play Leicester.
I don't feel like the fans had the proper chance to thank him for Euro 2016.
And I'd like to see Vardy taking freekicks and corners.

Fuck me, Hodgson favourite to take over, what a fucked up game its becoming, talk about jobs for the boys when this total fraud is being considered, if they survive this season, then they are well and truly fucked next, and i would lay very short odds on Woy being the first PL manager sacked.

Sydney - That rumour has been all over the news for 48 hours now, literally everyone knows about it already. Are you 2 days behind the rest of the world down under?

In other news, Germany invades Poland.

Re: Ranieri sacked
Rumour is that the senior players were complaining to the owners about the manager, which has hastened his removal.....fuck me, think more than a few of them are looking for excuses as to why they cant seem to replicate there own form (and luck) from last season, so lets blame it on the manager.

Cunts, hope they go down.

Sven - Good spin, but you'd rather be playing those sides than sides from the top half.

Re: Ranieri sacked
Apparently only Schmeichel sent best widhes and tganks to Ranieti via social media...

Also said their senior players were asked fir their opinions several times since Decenber...looks like players revolt got him...

Hope they get relegated...

PD
You could say Sunderland, Hull and Palace are 6 pointers
I think we know that seemingly winnable games get a bit FRAUGHT when you are down there and out of form

Palace & Leicester down would suit me fine.
Couple of impressive young managers in Silva and Clement seem to be perking their teams up

I'd love to see this decision backfire horribly, they'll probably stay up but their next appointment is crucial, hopefully they'll fuck it up.

Eh?? You really don't think stuff like that has always gone on? Modern day football does have it shit sides, but that isn't one of them.

Re: Ranieri sacked
They still have to play Watford, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Stoke and Hull at home and Palace away. Not a hard run in by any means and surely he would have kept them up. Scandalous decision.

The under dog had its day (or season) if Liecsters board thought they would then go on to dominate european football from then on they could have but it was as unlikely as them winning the league in the first place.

What caused the big teams to inder perform they way they did last year who only knows.
